A Hi-Definition AV link streams live surgery from the operating rooms to a large screen in the seminar room.
Our surgical training takes place at Cavendish House Implant Centre in Cambridge.
All course participants are encouraged to place and restore implants on their own patients, under the close supervision of one of our experienced implantologists. Participants will keep a log book of all surgery demonstrations witnessed as well as every case completed under supervision. Your patient can pay greatly reduced treatment fees if treatment is carried out as part of the training course. This can save the patient over a thousand pounds and acts as an extremely effective incentive for patients to take part in the course.
Mentoring is provided free of charge for 12 months after completion of the Year Course.
At each study day group treatment planning seminars take place. Under the leadership of the course director, Stuart Ellis, course participants will present prospective implant cases to the group. We have found that this is the most effective method of learning the art of implant treatment planning.
An online library of surgery videos for various implant situations is available for course participants to download.
